Since the outbreak of the pandemic in Italy, SPICI has worked alongside the Campania Region and in particular with the Regional Minister for Innovation, Valeria Fascione and the Directorate General for Healthcare Protection and Coordination of the Regional Healthcare System to coordinate donations of medical supplies from China.

Thanks to the collaboration with the Xi’an High Tech Zone – one of the first high-tech zones at the state level in China approved by the State Council in March 1991 – the Chinese company Shaanxi LifeGen Co., Ltd. donated 10,080 Covid-19 nucleic acid detection kit to the Colli Hospital.
