Zhongguancun Forum 2022 – 100 BEST INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION 

OPEN CALL FOR THE SELECTION OF SMES, INNOVATIVE STARTUPS, SPINOFFS AND RESEARCH GROUPS

TO BE ACCOMPANIED IN THEIR INTERNATIONALIZATION PROCESS TO CHINA

SPICI, thanks to the consolidated collaboration with its partner ITTN-International Technology Transfer Network, promotes the 14th edition of the Zhongguancun Forum, an international scientific-technological collaboration platform on the topics of science, innovation and new technologies. The ZGC Forum is a Chinese government initiative aimed at strengthening the exchange of knowledge, talents and skills, experts by fostering moments of exchange between innovative companies, academics and government representatives.

Located in the Haidian District of Beijing, Zhongguancun is considered one of the most important high-tech industrial development zones in China and in the world landscape. This is an area that hosts over 10,000 technology companies and research centers, including over half of the country’s unicorn startups, to which the central government has been dedicating considerable resources and incentive policies to research and development and the creation of business.

As part of the ZGC Forum 2022, which will take place in Beijing from 23 to 27 September 2022, and online for Italian participants, is also organized the “International technology fair and release”, in order to implement the list of the “100 Best Innovative Technologies for international cooperation “.

 

This year, the sectoral focus of the 100 companies to be included in the 2022 List is divided into these 10 themes:

 

  • New generation of ICT
  • Innovation in biotechnology and life sciences
  • Innovative innovation for drug and health care
  • High-end medical device
  • Environmental protection and sustainable development (i.e. Carbon Neutrality and Green oriented Innovation)
  • High-end equipment and smart device
  • Intelligent industry and high-end processing
  • New energy
  • New materials
  • Modern agriculture

To do this, SPICI launches and publishes the Open Call for the selection of SMEs, innovative startups, spinoffs and research groups, operating in these 10 themes, which are thus candidates to become part of the list of the “100 Best Innovative Technologies for International Cooperation “, and that SPICI will be able to accompany in internationalization paths towards China. The Open Call will remain open until July 17, 2022.
