SPICI launches the acceleration program “Startup Go Global: Campania’s international accelerator” to support the growth and internationalization of startups from Italy’s Campania Region in China, Japan, USA, Israel, and in the ME.NA.SA. area (Middle East, North Africa and South Asia).

SPICI participated in a call by the Campania Region to strengthen the innovative ecosystem and was selected to develop, implement and manage the program, which targets startups and teams of entrepreneurs interested in expanding into foreign markets.

Funded by the European Union within the Regional Operational Plan (POR) FSE Campania 2014-2020, the program Startup Go Global intends to promote the internationalization of startups and to build a community of innovators interested in internationalization processes. The one-year program was also designed to stimulate new synergies between operators of regional and international innovation ecosystems, in order to create or integrate innovative entrepreneurship platforms with target countries and strengthen the attraction of skills, capital and resources on the regional territory.

A call will be published by SPICI to identify startups and teams of entrepreneurs who will be accompanied during their acceleration path and then towards one of the target countries (China, Japan, USA, Israel, ME.NA.SA).

In particular, the program provides for training and networking opportunities which will involve industrial, financial and institutional representatives to guide and support the panel of selected entrepreneurs in their internationalization strategy.

The teams will also have access to an international information desk to search for new business opportunities (calls, tools, programs, competitions, major international events and initiatives, etc.) and to obtain top-level information on the target markets and on protection of intellectual property.
